Location
: Located 20 minutes north from Muscat, the capital of Oman,
at Al Ghubra, The Chedi Muscat is an exclusive beach resort
that offers world-class facilities for the discerning traveller.
Designed in the style of traditional Omani architecture, The
Chedi Muscat has an impressive private beach, two swimming pools
one of which is exclusive to adults only; both pools are accessible
from The Serai Wing or The Chedi Wing, and each category of
room has its own magnificent view of the water ponds or the
Hajjar mountain ranges of Muscat.
The Chedi Muscat also provides guests with the use of an exclusive
retreat called the Chedi Club. The Chedi Club is a private lounge
offering complimentary breakfast, morning/afternoon tea and
evening cocktails, personalised check-in and check-out services,
airport transfers, library, free internet access and a host
of other executive benefits.
Room Categories
Serai Room
The 55 Serai Rooms are 33 sqm in size and located in the 3-storey
Serai wing. Most of the rooms look to either the Indian Ocean
or the majestic mountains of Muscat, Serai Rooms accommodate
up to two adults and are comprised with one Queen Size bed and
one built-in sofa bench. The open plan bathroom features an
open wardrobe, one hand washbasin, separate toilet and shower
with a rain forest shower head.
Deluxe Room
The 52 Deluxe Rooms are 39 sqm in size and are scattered amongst
the one and two storey Chedi wing pocketed by ponds. Rooms look
either across the water gardens or to the majestic mountains
of Muscat. All rooms are equipped with one King Size bed and
one sofa bench and can accommodate up to two adults. The bathroom
area features two open wardrobes, two hand washbasins, a separate
toilet and shower, which features a rainforest shower head.
Each Deluxe room is equipped with a Bose® Wave® music
system featuring radio and CD player.
Deluxe Club Room
The 8 Deluxe Club Rooms are identical to the deluxe rooms. Deluxe
Club Rooms are located in the same wing as the Library which
functions as a Club Lounge and are inclusive of continental
breakfast in the Lounge, complimentary cocktail hours, free
laundry, free internet access in the Library, free mini bar
and daily newspaper.
Chedi Club Suites
Sitting closest to the private beach, the 36 suites are either
2-storey or a single storey. The single storey club suite break
away from the flat roof building concept with its dome-shaped
ceiling. Each suite consists of a large bedroom with a King
size bed and a separate living room and an outdoor balcony.
Low window of the sitting room allows guests to enjoy the view
of the tranquil ponds or the garden ground within the hotel
or from the private terrace. Two Apple iPod minis with Bose®
SoundDock® digital music system are provided in each suite,
preloaded with 1,500 pieces of music.
Chedi Club Suites accommodate up to 2 adults or 2 adults and
max. 2 children up to the age of 14 years. The children can
be accommodated on the existing sofa benches in the sitting
room of the suite. The bathroom features a terrazo sunk-in bath
tub, an impressive separate shower featuring a rain forest shower
head and hand held shower attachment. A separate toilet and
bidet, two hand wash basins, two closets with drawer space in
each.
Suites are inclusive of two-way airport transfers, continental
breakfast in The Library/Club Lounge, complimentary cocktail
hours and internet access in The Library/Club Lounge, free laundry,
and free mini bar and daily newspaper. The Library/Club Lounge
is not available for children below 6 years of age. Children
between 6 years and 14 years must be accompanied by one of the
parents.
